Archer Sacred Hunter Guide

Table of Contents

Overview

The Sacred Hunter class in “Legends of Mushroom” is designed for players who love seeing big red numbers and dealing massive damage. This class excels at delivering consecutive critical hits (CRITS) to achieve a powerful 40% attack bonus (ATK BONUS). Alongside this, the Sacred Hunter maintains a high COMBO rate, allowing for even more arrows to be unleashed upon your enemies.

Gameplay

The Sacred Hunter is perfect for players who thrive in the current meta and enjoy optimizing their gameplay for maximum damage output. This class is all about precision and timing, making it an exciting choice for those who want to dominate their foes with relentless attacks.

Moreover, sacred hunters focus on maintaining distance from their targets, utilizing their superior range to take down enemies before they can retaliate. Their abilities often include buffs and healing, making them versatile in various situations.

Skills

Shadow Hunters should invest in skills that increase critical hit chance and damage. You have to utilize abilities that enhance your combo mechanics and provide burst damage to take down enemies swiftly.

Early Game (levels 1-89) PVE

Do not use both Nature’s Renewal and Shroom Shield together, unless doing it manually, since in auto-battle they both interpose each other and one becomes useless.

Early Game (levels 1-89) PVP

In the early stages of PvP (Player vs. Player) in “Legends of Mushroom,” your focus should be on selecting skills that deliver the highest damage. Unlike PvE, where you can use a combination of defensive and healing skills, PvP requires a more strategic approach to maximize your combat effectiveness. Here’s how to dominate the early-game PvP from levels 1-89

Essential Skills for Early Game PvP

Same as PVE, pick the skills that deal the bigger damage, but this time, don’t put both, Nature’s Renewal & shroom shield, as the shield will absorb most initial skill damage from the enemy and Nature’s Renewal will help with sustaining the enemies basic attack.

Mid Game (level 90-104) PVE

As you progress to the mid-game in “Legends of Mushroom,” from levels 90-104, the effectiveness of your skills begins to rely more on their utility and effects rather than raw damage output. Here’s a detailed guide on optimizing your skills and strategies for mid-game PvE (Player vs. Environment) to maximize your performance

Essential Skills for Mid-Game PvE

Auto Battler Combinations

For automated battles, where you rely on the game’s AI to control your character, it’s important to optimize your skill set up to balance offense and defense:

Shield or Nature’s Renewal: Choose either Shield for absorbing damage or Nature’s Renewal for sustained healing. Avoid using both simultaneously to maintain efficiency.

Smoke Bomb and Disarm: Ensure these skills are active to maximize damage and control over the battlefield.

Manual Battle Combinations

In manual battles, where you have direct control over your character’s actions, focus on higher survivability and leveraging basic attacks:

Higher Survivability: Prioritize skills and gear that enhance your durability in prolonged fights. This includes using defensive skills like Shield or healing skills like Nature’s Renewal strategically.

Basic Attack Focus: As battles progress, your basic attacks will become increasingly vital. Equip gear and artifacts that enhance your attack speed and damage to carry you through extended encounters.

Mid-game (Levels 90-104) PvP

In the mid-game phase (levels 90-104) of PvP gameplay, players begin to acquire various skills, largely influenced by luck. For some, obtaining powerful red skills may be delayed until higher levels, like level 105. Here, I’ll outline some skill combinations ranked from best to worst for this stage of the game.

Late game (level 105-120+) PVE

In the late-game phase, acquiring pink skills like Clone Strike and Worldly Snare is crucial for PvE success. Players should focus on two sets of skills: one for basic enemies and one for bosses.

Essential Skills:

  • Crowd Control Abilities
  • Area-of-Effect Damage
  • Swift Elimination Skills for Basic Enemies
  • Sustained Damage Output
  • Defensive Abilities
    Cooldown Management for Boss Encounters

By mastering these essential skills and optimizing their skill sets accordingly, players can dominate PvE challenges and progress swiftly through the late-game stages.
Moreover, for Basic enemies, you’ll want to focus on survivability, so pick lots of skills that help in that. This is what I currently use for basic enemies

TIP

Late-Game (Levels 105-120+) PVP

In the late-game PvP arena (levels 105-120+), a strategic skill set is essential for success. While focusing primarily on PvE, certain skills can still prove valuable in PvP encounters.

Recommended Skills:

To enhance PvP performance, consider testing different skill combinations and strategies, such as omitting Clone Strike in favor of other skills, particularly at higher levels (115+). This experimentation can provide valuable insights into optimal skill usage and effectiveness against various opponents.

By prioritizing strategic skill selection and adapting gameplay tactics based on individual strengths and opponent matchups, players can excel in late-game PvP encounters and achieve victory in challenging battles.

Pals

As pals are available in different rarities, I’ll say which ones are best to worst in order. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use the ones that I think are the worst, as all these are the ones that are the most useful for you. The useless ones are the ones not mentioned.

Here’s a breakdown of their effectiveness:

  • Banana: Exceptionally useful and versatile.
  • Dragon Treasure: Provides valuable support.
  • Bunny: Enhances gameplay dynamics.
  • Octopus: Offers useful contributions.
  • Bird: Provides additional support.
  • Cactus: Niche abilities for specific advantages.
  • Chicken: Limited effectiveness, especially in late-game scenarios.

For Free-to-Play (F2P) players, late-game usage of certain pals may not be recommended. However, all pals listed have their uses throughout the game. Consider their benefits and adapt strategies accordingly for optimal gameplay

Prayers for PvP and PvE Strategies

For PvP and PvE against basic enemies, a balanced prayer setup is recommended.

  • x2 Combo Damage
  • x2 Critical Damage
  • x1 Global Attack

While focusing solely on Critical Damage may seem tempting, it leads to diminishing returns.

In PvE encounters against bosses, adapt your prayer strategy to maximize damage output. Consider options such as:

  • x2 Combo Damage
  • x1 Critical Damage
  • x1 Global Attack
  • x1 Boss Damage

Or

  • x1 Combo Damage
  • x2 Critical Damage
  • x1 Global Attack
  • x1 Boss Damage

These setups optimize your abilities for efficiently tackling boss encounters while maintaining effectiveness against other enemies.

Mounts

When it comes to advanced mounts, Pyrebreaker stands out as the clear choice. With its ability to enhance base Critical Rate and significantly boost Critical Damage, it’s the go-to option for players seeking to maximize their effectiveness in battles. While alternatives like the Koi Paper Kite may emerge in the future, Pyrebreaker remains the undisputed leader in mountain selection for now.

Relics

Mask

Bonded Mask or Arrow King Mask are both solid options, but prioritizing Bonded Mask for its critical hit rate enhancement can be advantageous.

Fossil

In early PvP stages, consider Glided Eggshell or Thundercaller Kite. With the addition of BLITZ ASSAULT, Dragonweave Circlet becomes the top choice. PvE relic selection depends on pet usage.

Treasure

Until late-game, choose the relic that best suits your needs. Once you acquire Octopus, prioritize Metamorphic Crystall.

Tome

Swap relics based on the situation to maximize effectiveness.

Statue (PvP)

Start with Time Statue; switch to Stellar Statue when you acquire BLITZ ASSAULT and WORLDLY SNARE. For PvE, stick with Time Statue for longer durations of DISARM and SMOKE BOMB.

Necklace (PvE)

Opt for Storm Necklace to capitalize on CLONE STRIKE’s devastating power. In PvP, choose Spirit Necklace with BLITZ ASSAULT or Storm Necklace without it. Upon unlocking WINDBORNE ARROW, transition to Abyss Necklace.

Keep in mind that relic choices may vary based on individual playstyles and preferences, especially considering the evolving nature of this feature. Adjustments may be necessary as new strategies and insights emerge.

Artifact

For players with access to pay-to-win features or those fortunate enough to acquire rare artifacts, the Candy Gatling stands out as a top choice. This artifact enhances every attack and combo by shooting 1 to 5 additional bullets, each dealing damage equivalent to 10% of current Attack (ATK). Its straightforward yet powerful effect can significantly boost damage output in battles, making it a valuable asset for those seeking to dominate their opponents.

Souls

In the souls section, optimizing your build involves prioritizing Critical Damage (CRIT DMG) while ensuring you don’t neglect Combo Damage (COMBO DMG) and Attack Bonus (ATK BONUS). If you happen to obtain a red soul for any of these stats, prioritize it over CRIT DMG for the highest bonus.

However, it’s crucial not to overlook defensive stats such as HP, Defense, and Critical Resistance. Neglecting these can result in being quickly overwhelmed by opponents despite dealing high damage. If you’re fortunate enough to obtain a red soul for any defensive stat, focus on leveling it more than others for enhanced survivability.

Ultimately, while luck plays a significant role in soul acquisition, maintaining a balance between offensive and defensive stats is essential for longevity and effectiveness in battles.

1. Eye of the Abyss

Crit DMG Bonus 168.8%
Skill Crit DMG 20.05%

2. Wildfire Piercer

Basic ATK DMG 135%
Skill DMG 45.15%

Feather Attributes

Feather attributes at the moment seem to be giving a small bonus initially, but after a while it starts to jump quite quickly. Even so, I believe distributing them equally is the best option while giving a very small advantage to the ATK feathers.

Gear

Early Game Gear Strategy (Levels 1-89)

In the early stages (levels 1-89), prioritize base stats over attributes. Since attribute values are low, focusing on base stats provides a solid foundation for character progression.

Mid-game Gear (Levels 90-104)

In mid-game (levels 90-104), shift focus to attributes like CRIT and COMBO over base stats. Prioritize gear that maximizes these attributes for increased damage output. Even if you acquire Supreme gear for an Immortal slot, only change gear if attributes align with your build. Attributes hold greater importance than base stats during this phase.

Late-game (Levels 105-120+)

In late-game stages (levels 105-120+), after maximizing primary attributes like CRIT and COMBO, adding a third attribute can enhance survivability. Two options, STUN and EVASION, offer distinct advantages:

  • STUN enhances crowd control, especially effective with high Attack Speed.
  • EVASION boosts survivability, particularly in PvE where enemies lack IGNORE EVASION stats.

Choose based on focus: EVASION for PvE and STUN for PvP. Consider playstyle and priorities to optimize your late-game build.

Runestones

Use runestones that increase your agility and critical strike damage.
