Gameplay
This is a season-style event, each season lasting 21 days.
It will be rolled out in stages across the servers: check in-game notices for specific times.
Servers join together to form 4-server factions, then setting off from the 4 corners of the map for its center: the City. Occupy bases and resource blocks, enhance your Battleships, and fight for ultimate control over the City! The first server to occupy the City wins precious [First Occupation Rewards] for all its players!
Occupy Blocks & Build Bases
Each attack upon a target block costs 1 Action Point, launched at the defensive forces in order according to the queue.
Attack to occupy a block and build your base.
If you fail, however, you’ll revive in your Camp or at another base.
Tip: The attack queue is key! Consider the order of your attacks carefully to ensure victory!
Block Types & Resource Acquisition
1) Camps: Where you first spawn from and where your fallen Alliance members return once revived.
Camps can’t be attacked. Remember—guarding by your Camp recovers your ship HP.
2) Bases: Allied bases can be set as revive points.
If you’re launching an all-out attack then it’s best to pick out a base for your allies to revive and regroup at if defeated.
Open water (that is, empty blocks) can’t be set as a revive point!
3) Resource blocks: Seizing control over resource blocks to boost your item yield is a quick way to enhance your ship.
Blocks of different levels grant a range of resources, in varying quantities.
It’s recommended you take over advanced resource blocks early on to speed up your ships’ development.
4) City blocks: The first server to occupy the City gains a special bonus: First Occupation Rewards, given to all players of that server.
This is a one-off reward, so further occupations will only grant extra yield bonuses and server Merit.
Gather your allies and strike together, but watch you’re not ambushed yourselves!
5) Monster blocks and ruins blocks: These two block types grant extra rewards, which can be claimed a limited number of times.
Max them out to gain bonus rewards. Ruins blocks also grant damage ranking rewards.
“Throughout your offense, it is timing and communication that are of utmost importance. For example: there’s only one set of First Occupation Rewards up for grabs, so you’ll need to plan well. Cooperate with your allies, attacking together and maintaining communications. Prioritize occupying advanced resource blocks over others. Also keep in mind that rewards from ruins blocks increase with the number of players, so call on your allies and attack them as one.”
Ship Enhancements
Enhance your ships at Docks. The Flagship’s level is most important as it determines basic attributes along with the level of equipment yielded and unlocks more crew members.
Parts such as the hull and sails can also be switched out to increase Flagship attributes.
There’s also the Forging Bench level, which influences the quality of equipment yielded.
Keep these two main points in mind to ensure your battleships’ steady development, increasing their power and maximizing possibilities for later stages.
Aside from making basic enhancements to your ships, you should try these out as they also grant more resources.
